Privacy Policy

Effective from 21 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data processed through this website (famkologistics.eu) is Famko Logistics sp. z o.o., Towarowa 23, 43-100 Tychy, Poland, NIP 6463012126.

For any questions about your data, write to contact@famkologistics.eu.

2. What this website does and does not collect

This is a simple information page. It has no contact form, no user accounts, no newsletter and no analytics or advertising tools. The website itself does not set any cookies. The fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the page does not send your data to font providers.

3. When you email us

If you write to us, for example to request a transport quote, we process the data you include in your message: usually your name, company, email address and the details of your shipment.

  • Purpose: replying to your enquiry, preparing a quote and, if we work together, organizing the transport.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • How long: for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or the contract, and afterwards for the period required by law (for example accounting rules) or until possible claims become time-barred.

4. Server logs

Like every website, ours runs on a server provided by a hosting company. The server automatically records technical information about each visit: IP address, date and time, the requested page and the browser type. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify visitors.

5. Google Maps

The contact section shows a map from Google Maps, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is loaded when you scroll close to the contact section. At that moment your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and may set or read cookies.

We use the map to show you where our office is (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details are in Google's Privacy Policy.

If you do not want to connect to Google, you can block third-party cookies in your browser or use our address and email above instead of the map.

6. Links to LinkedIn

Our website links to our company profile on LinkedIn. It is a regular link, not a plugin, so no data is sent to LinkedIn until you click it. After you click, LinkedIn processes your data under its own privacy policy.

7. Who receives the data

We share data only with providers that help us run the website and our business, such as the hosting company, our email provider and IT service providers, and only to the extent needed. They process the data on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, email contact@famkologistics.eu.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it took effect.
